About Kittsfield
Kittsfield Farm is a 27-acre equestrian retreat in the heart of Aiken's horse country. Whether you're here to relax and recharge, explore everything Aiken has to offer, or compete at one of the area's premier horse shows, we hope you'll feel right at home. Located less than 10 minutes from Sporting Days, Full Gallop, Dara Knot, Jumping Branch, and The Vista, and less than 15 minutes from Bruce's Field and downtown Aiken, the farm offers a peaceful home base with convenient access to many of the area's top equestrian destinations.
The property features three unique accommodations—the Main House, Cottage, and Studio—which can be rented individually for a private getaway or together for families, friends, trainers, and barn groups traveling to Aiken. Whether you're planning a horse show weekend or simply looking for a quiet escape, you'll find modern accommodations surrounded by peaceful pastures, towering pines, and the slower pace of country life.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the farm's half-mile hiking and hacking trail, which winds through the wooded portion of the property, along with numerous quiet places to relax and take in the surroundings. While the barn and pastures are currently being thoughtfully upgraded, a limited number of stalls and pasture accommodations are available for guests staying on the property. Please contact us for availability and details.
Kittsfield Farm is owned by Erin and Frank, who created the property as the kind of place they always wanted to return to after a day of riding. Erin is a lifelong horse owner, competitive eventer, and has been traveling to Aiken for more than 15 years. Frank brings years of experience in real estate investment and professional property management, helping ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable, well-maintained stay. Along with their dog, Licorice, they continue to invest in the farm with the goal of creating an exceptional experience for both horses and the people who love them.
Whether you're here for a competition, a weekend getaway, or simply to experience the beauty of Aiken's horse country, we look forward to welcoming you to Kittsfield Farm.
